Proposed DRAFT Federal Fiscal Years 2009 - 2012 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Tables
The TIP lays out a staged, multiyear, intermodal program of transportation improvements that is consistent with the Regional Transportation Plan. It contains a financial plan showing the revenue source or sources, current or proposed, for each project programmed to receive federal funding (for highway and transit) and state funding (for highway) over a four-year period. Listed here are the funding tables associated with the DRAFT Federal Fiscal Year 2009 - 2012 TIP.
FFY 2008 Element of the 2007 - 2010 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment One
Endorsed June 26, 2008. The approved adjustment and amendment added, removed, increased and decreased funds for several projects in the Federal Fiscal Year 2008 element.

FFY 2006 Annual List of Obligated Projects
The Boston Region MPO has prepared a list of all projects for which Federal funds were obligated in Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2006.

FFYs 2007-2010 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment Four
This proposed amendment to the FFY 2007 element of the FFYs 2007-2010 Transportation Improvement Program removes several projects; adds two bridge projects. It also address a re-distribution of  National Highway System funding in the 2007 annual element. It also reflects the addition of one earmark and one bridge previously not included in the TIP. FFYs 2007-2010 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Adjustment Four
Approved adjustment from May 24th meeting. This adjustment details the usage of Suburban Mobility Funding for federal fiscal year 2007.

FFYs 2007-2010 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment Three
Approved adjustment from August 2nd meeting. This adjustment details the projects funded in the
FFY 2007 element of the FFYs 2007 - 2010 TIP. Legal Notice.

This amendment adds, removes, increases, and decreases funds for several projects in FY 2007 element of the FFYs 2007-2010 TIP. Legal Notice.

FYs 2007-2010 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment One and Adjustment Two
Endorsed November 30, 2006. The approved adjustment and amendment added, removed, increased, and decreased funds for several projects in fiscal year 2007, 2008 and 2009.

FYs 2007-2010 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Adjustment One
Approved adjustment from November 16, 2006 meeting. This adjustment adds, increases, and decreases funds for several projects in fiscal year 2007, 2008 and 2009.

FYs 2007-2010 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment One
This amendment adds, removes, increases, and decreases funds for several projects in FY 2007, FY 2008, and FY 2009 elements of the FYs 2007-2010 TIP. Legal Notice.

FYs 2007-2010 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Adjustment Two
This adjustment adds funds for three projects in the FY 2007 element of the FYs2007-2010 TIP.

The Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) announces the availability of the endorsed Fiscal Years 2007 – 2010 Transportation Improvement Program and Air Quality Conformity Determination (TIP).

The TIP lays out a staged, multiyear, intermodal program of transportation improvements that is consistent with the Regional Transportation Plan. It contains a financial plan showing the revenue source or sources, current or proposed, for each project programmed to receive federal funding (for highway and transit) and state funding (for highway) over a four-year period.

Endorsement

The MPO endorsed the TIP on August 17, 2006. The document has been submitted to the Executive Office of Transportation and is awaiting approval by the federal agencies.

Copies of the endorsed FY 2007-2010 TIP are available at www.bostonmpo.org or, free of charge. Copies of the final FYs 2007-2010 will be available in CD, print, or accessible formats once approved by the federal agencies.

Amendments and Adjustments

The MPO can amend the TIP during the course of the year. Affected communities and constituencies are notified of pending amendments. A legal notice of amendments is placed in the Boston region’s major newspaper, and notice is also given on the MPO’s Web site; these notices are posted 35 days in advance of MPO action.

The subscribers to the MPOInfo e-mail list service are notified of potential amendments and of meetings about them. Community representatives and other members of the public may submit written or oral testimony.

In addition to the MPO's making amendments, the Transportation Planning and Programming Committee of the MPO may make adjustments to a TIP. A legal notice of pending adjustments is placed in the region’s major newspaper, and notice is also given on the MPO’s Web site. These notices are posted 15 days in advance of Transportation Planning and Programming Committee action.
