Certification Review

You are invited to participate in an evaluation of the MPO’s transportation planning process.

 

Every four years, metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs) are reviewed by the Federal Highway and Federal Transit Administration (FHWA and FTA) to certify that the MPO’s planning practices comply with federal regulations and guidance.

 

As part of the review, the federal agencies and the MPO will meet on December 10 and 11(see details below) to discuss how the metropolitan transportation planning process is conducted in the Boston region Please check the MPO website and meeting calendar for the agenda.)

 

We are inviting members of the public to share their views about any facet of the MPO transportation planning process. The FHWA and FTA are particularly interested in hearing from people who have participated in some aspect of the MPO’s work. Please submit your thoughts, comments, or observations before December 29 to:
